In Zombie Smashers X two characters realize that the Earth is becoming
overrun by zombies and decide to do something about it. It is a gory tribute
to River City Ransom, sharing its same gameplay: a beat’em up with an RPG
twist.

There are several characters the player may choose from, but they all play the
same, so the choice is merely cosmetic. Most objects in the game can be picked
up and used as a weapon including unconscious zombies. Killing zombies earns
you money which can be used to purchase upgrades (for the attributes Strength,
Defense, Agility, Punch, Kick and Health), special moves (in the form of
tattoos) and health at proper stores. The game supports a split-screen two
players mode.
