## Description
_Xorb_ is a one or two player, arcade style puzzle game.
There’s an odd story behind this game concerning an ark or zoo adrift in space
and saving aliens from the clutches of Tnargent Grix all of which leads to a
game which looks superficially a little like a side scrolling Tetris clone.
Xorb it seems needs to save cute little aliens, called xeo, by matching up
three or more of them. A level starts with some xeos trapped in an energy
grid. Xorb can add new xeo to this grid hopefully forming groups of identical
xeo as he/she/it does so. When three or more identical xeo matched up they are
freed from the grid and disappear somewhere scoring points as they go. There
is a catch however, just forming groups is not enough, at least one xeo of the
group must be in the end column nearest to Xorb.
Each level is timed, at the far end of the game area is the ‘electroNet’ and
should a line of xeo become so long that it touches the net then it’s game
over. The timing element is introduced by periodically moving the ‘electroNet’
closer to Xorb so that eventually there’s no room for any xeo in the grid at
all.
The game has three levels of difficulty and is entirely keyboard controlled.
In later levels ‘special’ xeo appear to further complicate the game, these
include clouds, eggs and asteroids
The two player game is a head to head, split screen game with the top player
playing a left to tight game while the lower player plays right to left.
The game includes an option allowing the player to construct and name their
own levels
