quickly made its mark, earning its first victory at Monte Carlo to open the
1998 season. Toyota won its third Manufacturers’ title the following year with
this car. The Toyota Corolla is the Japanese maker’s star!
Its 4-wheel drive and 300 hp turbo engine helped it become World Champion in
1999.
The record? In 95% of the races in which it took part, it reached the podium!
