What the box is an Online Multiplayer shooter in which players control living boxes hiding amongst regular boxes while trying to destroy each other. Run around with your trusty box-cutter in hand or stand still and wait for the perfect moment to strike!
Classic timed deathmatch mode! You have 5 minutes to find and kill as many player boxes as you can, by the end of the match the box with most kills wins!
You only have one bullet and your weapon won’t reload. The only way to get more bullets is to kill other players! You can use your box-cutter, but be careful because others can see it! The player with most kills by the end wins.
One of the boxes is the powerful juggerbox! Only the juggerbox can score points by killing the other boxes, but the other boxes must try to kill it to steal its power. By the end of the match the box with most points wins!

Original idea
Surprisingly intense
Very buggy
Not a whole lot of players
When I saw this in the Xbox Store earlier, I thought it was a joke. I laughed reading the description. But I had to admit, it was definitely an original idea. I went ahead and bought it, figuring if it was bad it was only $5. But luckily, it wasn’t a bad game. It’s very buggy and the camera keeps jumping around, but it was clearly a cheap game from a small developer, so for what it is it’s a well-made game.
I played several rounds, and it’s more intense than you’d expect. For starters, there are boxes everywhere, and any one of them could be another player. You have no idea which one is a person unless they move around. Usually there’s a ten minute limit, and the first five minutes, no one wants to move. Everyone just looks around and slowly moves. Unfortunately, when you look around the box moves, too. But the last few minutes, it usually delves into chaos, everyone running around trying to kill each other. But it’s actually kind of funny , seeing a bunch of boxes going at each other with box cutters.
I think my favourite moment while I played was actually a bad moment for me, but it left me impressed. I was chasing a player from room to room, but then I lost sight of them. I walked around and then he killed me. I went back and reviewed the gameplay footage afterwards and they had simply stopped moving. They’d blended into the other boxes so well that I didn’t even notice, and in the heat of the moment I thought they disappeared.
I think this game is good, but also that it could do with a bit of work. The biggest thing being fixing the glitches. Either a patch or a bigger budget sequel. Either way, this game is worth the $5.
