Summary
War Train
6th June 1944 – the Allies have landed on the Normandy coast, suffering terrible losses. The Americans and the British are desperately trying to hold their bridgehead and at the same time advance further, to get more troops on to dry land and find a chink in the massive steel defenses of the enemy.
The Germans are beginning to wilt a little under the pressure and Dr. Walter von Eisenring is no exception. He’s a leading SS scientist and at the same time the inventor of a new, mass-destruction ‘wonder weapon’. A troop inspection of his research laboratory is about to take place – manufacture of the weapon is falling behind schedule. Enter Steven Miller, an American spy – he manages to obtain secret documents of the utmost importance, documents that could change the outcome of the war. They are the actual plans of the German defense positions and the construction plans of the new German wonder weapon!
A telling blow indeed against the Germans, if these should happen to fall into the hands of the Allied High Command.
Miller is discovered and an intensive hunt for him commences – for the Nazis, everything’s at stake. He succeeds in capturing a war train, which he must use to travel all the way through Normandy in order to reach Allied lines. He can only expect help and protection from a small handful of French Resistance fighters – but Nazi Germany mobilizes its entire, awesome might against him. Miller has no choice – he must defend himself with one cannon against wildly attacking Stukas, gunboats, tanks and soldiers.
Nazi Germany is about to open its sluice gates and try to engulf one man with the full flood of hatred and evil – Steven Miller.
