Volta-X is a multiplayer strategy game in which we take part in duels of huge robots controlled by anthropomorphic animals. The title was developed by GungHo Online Entertainment.

### Mechanics

The pillar of the Volta-X are the battles of the walking machines, which are fought in a special arena. We can modify equipment of the robots at our own discretion. The available arsenal includes both ranged weapons (such as steel-punching lasers and fast rocket launchers) and short-circuit weapons (such as powerful clubs). The mechanical colossus is not controlled directly – instead, we control its crew, responsible for loading ammunition, extinguishing fires or repairing damaged components. As everything happens fast, during the game we need to show not only tactical sense, but also perceptiveness and reflexes.

During breaks from each fight, we can expand the base (and for example, stock it with lounges and cafes where our pets can relax) and work on upgrades for our machine; new armour increases its resistance to damage, while increasingly powerful weapons allow us to compete with stronger opponents. The visit to our headquarters is also an opportunity to learn more about our charges.

### Technical aspects

Volta-X has an eye-catching cartoon-style graphics. It is complemented by a clear interface that allows you to keep track of the status of the robot and its weapons, as well as the location of individual crew members.
