Vector 2 is an Android-based auto-runner platformer. It was developed by Nekki studio, the same band that produced the first part of the series.
The plot is a direct continuation of the original. Again, therefore, we are moving into a gloomy vision of a future in which the Big Brother controls every step of the people. The main character is a rebel, who in the first part decided to regain freedom and begins to escape. He was quickly followed by the forces of order and after a long chase they managed to catch him. Instead of executing him on the escape route, the authorities decided to use his unusual skills. It was transported to a secret research centre, where it is to test new equipment during deadly experiments. Of course, at the same time he will also try to find an opportunity to escape.
The game is a typical auto-runner in which we have to overcome a series of levels filled with obstacles and traps. The character automatically rushes forward, and our task is to give commands using gestures such as jumping or slipping. In order to avoid death, the skills of the parkoure, allowing us to perform impressive acrobatics, help us to avoid death. In the game it was realized in a much more complex form than the standard platform mechanics, requiring manual execution of various moves and tricks.
Compared to the original, a lot of novelties appeared. First of all, the authors decided to enrich the game with elements of roguelike. As a result, all maps, although having a certain beginning and end, are generated procedurally, and each death is final. In addition, a mass of new locations, types of obstacles and traps were introduced, as well as a large set of additional helpful gadgets to unlock.
