## Description

_UpShift StrikeRacer_ is a futuristic car combat game with extensive guild
management/social networking capabilities. _UpShift_ features multiple modes
of online competition with racing, rockets, hood-mounted machine guns, mines,
and general vehicular mayhem.

A free-to-play action racing videogame (similar in gameplay to Twisted Metal
or Full Auto), players could also spend time on game-derived, user-generated
community websites.

The game’s business model relied on the sale of virtual items (weapons, new
cars, etc) inside the game world, as well as advertising inside the game and
on the club sites.
