Universal Contingency will feature hyper-realism, as well as balanced gameplay for those who seek either combat, trade/civilian life, or a combination of both. There will be open-world Player versus Player depending on factions, dynamic skirmish points, and even queue-able PvP faction missions involving a large amount of players. A heavy dedication to PvE is important in any RPG, and will also be a prevalent aspect of UC. Another focus is one that is lacking in most games but greatly appreciated when included: scale. Not only will there be thousands of ships available to the player–there will be an extensive amount of subclasses of starships, as well as demilitarized civilian vessels. To name a few (emphasis on “few”): Fighter, Corvette, Destroyer, Cruiser, Etc… The size of these ships will vary for each subclass. For example: A starfighter might only be a mere 25 meters long, and a cargo freighter might be a decent 200 meters, but a starship such as a high-end cruiser could potentially amount to over 3km in length! Scale–not simply ship size, but scale in general–will be emphasized and implemented into Universal Contingency.
