## Description
_Thunderbirds: Vault of Doom_ is a single-player game which consists of a
series of mini-games. The story for the game is based on an episode of the
series. Lady Penelope and Parker must break into the Bank of England to test
its security. They succeed and a new system is installed, however something
goes wrong and the bank manager is trapped inside the vault and his oxygen is
running out. Only Thunderbirds can save him!
The game is played in story mode and there are differing mini-games depending
on the difficulty level chosen. On the easiest setting the first mission sees
Lady Penelope navigating a maze of offices through inside the Bank of England
looking for the lift that will take her and Parker to the next level and
ultimately to the vault. The second mission at this level has Scott flying
Thunderbird One to marker beacons and extracting navigation codes for
Thunderbird Two. The third mission sees Virgil landing Thunderbird Two at
London airport which leads to the final puzzle that unlocks the vault. Other
levels include Lady Penelope and Parker racing through the streets of London
in FAB1 to get to the vault and Scott and Virgil negotiating the London
underground while avoiding the Hood’s robot rats.
Completing the game on the any level unlocks the mini-games used in that level
so that they can be played independently of the story mode, while completing
the game on the hardest level unlocks the Thunderbirds Fact file and the
Adventure Maker options on the main menu. Some mini-games can only be re-
played if the player scored well in story mode.
