The Walking Dead: A New Frontier – Episode 4: Thicker Than Water
As Javier and David uncovered that some of the New Frontier leaders don’t play
by any rules and take all the matter into their own hands for their very own
survival, namely Joan, David opted to face the person in charge. It just so
happened that she was well prepared for that confrontation and in turn of
events put all the blame on David, evidence and all. Being more of a soldier
and less of a diplomat, David didn’t take that lightly and ended up killing
one of his own guys that betrayed him. This landed them in prison, but the
matter was yet to be settled.
While David was otherwise occupied with Joan, Kate managed to rescue Javi and
bring him to the rest of their team. Eventually the plan was to get some guns
so Javier and his nephew, Gabe, went to the armory to steal some weapons.
Thing went more or less smoothly, but Javi didn’t go unscathed so he proceeded
to the infirmary to stitch his wound before doing anything else. While the
doctor was in no condition to do any stitching, Clementine was there as well
and she had experience with that sort of wounds so Javi was in luck.
Clementine was there to find out where AJ is, but doctor Lingard offered to
tell her only if Javi agrees to kill him.
Big part of the plan included stealing an armored vehicle and escape the
undead in the area. The plan went without a problem, but next day crowd
gathered on the square where Joan was accusing David and was planning to
execute him. Things went south very soon, and in all the commotion Richmond’s
gate went down and all the undead surrounding the town started pouring in.
Escape, go after Joan, try and save the city, all the options were there but
seemed impossible to execute as the horde poured in and started attacking the
people in the settlement.
