## Description
_The Times: Art Adventure – Ace Goes Sailing_ is a title in The Times
Education Series.
This title is aimed at the very young, pre-schoolers aged two to five years
old and it is a simple painting program. After signing in the player can
select from three mini-games;
* Ace Goes Sailing
* Ace Goes Underwater
* Ace In The Jungle
The background to all the stories is that the baddie – Sharpfang – has stolen
colours from the world and by colouring in on-screen pictures the player fixes
things and this enables the cartoon story to play.
The format of all three stories is the same, the player colours in three or
four items using a digital paintbrush and ten colours arranged like a paintbox
at the bottom of the screen. The first picture to colour is Ace Monkey where
the player colours in his clothes. The last picture is always a friend who
will be there to watch Ace Monkey during his adventure. The final picture is
where the player can get creative as they have four drawing tools – pen,
crayon, spray paint and rubber, together with heart and star stamps. Using
these tools they can create their own character or, if inspiration fails, they
can use a pre-drawn shape.
When all pictures have been coloured in the game pays a short animation.
