The Quest Keeper is a stylish dungeon crawler game inspired by the popular Crossy Road. The production is the work of Canadian designer Tyson Ibele, who has created the grotesque Jungle Moose skillfulness. The title was issued for mobile devices in a free model with optional micropayments. However, they are only used to remove advertising banners and revitalize characters in order to facilitate the task of achieving better results. All content is offered free of charge.
In The Quest Keeper \- as simple as the addictive dungeon crawler – we take on the role of a daredevil trying to complete ten legendary quests. The game’s uniqueness is determined by the game mechanics, based on the solutions served in Crossy Road. The title, however, is not a typical clone – the creator developed a fun model, giving the player, among other things, the possibility to move around the whole map. The user does this by indicating the direction in which the automatically moving character is to move.
The game boils down to exploring maps and avoiding traps on them. The latter take on a variety of forms – from collapsing panels, through spider hordes, flying axes, cutting blades, spikes growing out of the ground, to arched skeletons. The range of obstacles depends on the chosen quest and the distance you managed to overcome. It is extremely important to reach gold boxes. It is used to buy better equipment and special items, thanks to which it is a little easier to move around the next dungeon.
The cherry on the cake is an excellent, woksel graphic, which we see from isometric projection (like in Crossy Road).
