The Hunger Games: Mr. Rising is an uncomplicated RPG with card elements, embedded in the universe of the Death Games series of films and books. The title was developed by Kabam on the occasion of the premiere of the third edition of the film “Kosog³os. Part 1 and appeared, among others, on smartphones and tablets with Android.
In the game we play the members of the resistance movement, whose task is to create a strong team and help Katniss Everdeen free the Lord from the cruel tyranny of President Snow. The gameplay mechanics is similar to Kabam’s earlier games, such as Heroes of Camelot or the Legends of Middle-Earth released less than three weeks earlier. The game boils down to exploring individual districts of the world of Lord and recruiting new heroes, among which we will find a whole gallery of characters, known from books and films. With such a team we participate in a series of skirmishes, freeing further districts from the power of the tyrant.
Battles with Peacekeeper troops take place automatically and the skills and statistics of the individual members of the team determine the strength of the team. We can train rebels recruited to the team during training, improving them in specific skills. During the exploration we will also find a whole array of useful items, which will allow us to increase the parameters of character, obedience or teamwork skills. As the game is distributed in the popular free-to-play model, impatient players can create a strong team faster by using real cash boosters.
Graphic design of the game in the Android version does not differ in quality from previous browser-based Kabam production. However, special emphasis was put on the appearance and physiognomy of the characters so that all fans of the Death Games can easily recognize their favorite heroes. Although the game does not allow for direct PvP competition, the implemented social options allow contact with other leaders of the resistance movement from all over the world. Its condition is a permanent connection to the Internet.
