The Enchanting Islands were beautiful, filled with color and magic. Then, an
evil sorceress cast a curse upon them, bringing darkness and gloom. You, as
Alice the good sorceress, must break this curse and restore the Enchanting
Islands.

The Enchanting Islands is a match three game. To make a match, use your
mouse to swap two items so as to create a straight row of three or more.

There are gold tiles on the board. These must be collected by making a match
over them to clear the level. In addition, you must collect the number of the
items shown at the top of the screen. If these are fruits or flowers, you
simply match three to collect them. If these are potions, you must make
matches to get the potion to the bottom of the board. These must be done
before time runs out.

If a cell is locked with a chain, to unlock it, you make a match with whatever
item is locked. If there are two chains, you must match it twice. If a cell is
shining gold, you must match it to turn it to regular gold them match again to
clear it. As the game progresses, you earn addition tools to help you. These
are the hammer, that clears one level of the gold or chain from one cell, the
bomb, that clears one level of the gold or chain and the items from four cells
and the collector, that gathers all of whatever type of item you select, as
well as clearing gold and chains in those cells. The collector does not work
on the potions.

After you finish a level, if you have gathered enough of the needed items for
your spell, you can restore part of an island, like removing the mist or lave.
After you fully restore an island, you enter the boss stage. Here, you will
have a boss at the bottom of the screen. You must make matches of fruit or
rocks to drop onto the boss to defeat it. You must hurry because the boss
absorbs some of your time, leaving you with less. While the boss is absorbing
time, it cannot be hurt. After the boss is fefeated, you move on to the next
island.
