## Description
_The Chickening_ is a side-scrolling platformer starring a chicken. The
game’s speciality is that everything is composed out of animated real-life
pictures. For example, most platforms are human body parts and encountered
enemies may be cats or peanuts.
Otherwise, this is a standard platformer: the chicken needs to cross the
levels mostly by jumping over gaps and fighting enemies with its laser eyes
(either straight ahead or in an angle). Touching enemies removes a part of the
health bar and running out – as well as falling into bottomless holes – means
the loss of the live and the need to restart from the last checkpoint. The
goal of each level is simply to reach the end. Other encountered obstacles are
moving platforms and enemies which take more hits than usual.
