Game Analysis | The Bunker is pretty much entirely just video footage and cutscenes, meaning it doesn't require very powerful hardware to run. A low-end graphics card such as a GeForce GTX 260 is all that is necessary, although for a smoother experience a more powerful card may be necessary. A callback to classic adventure games of yesteryear, The Bunker is a game entirely made of FMV (Full Motion Video) footage. Players must make important choices in order to escape from a nuclear bunker alive. | |

One of the better FMV games I’ve played, which isn’t a whole lot, but they usually come with an awkward reputation. This game is executed in way where I felt that the story and atmosphere was fascinating and engaging enough but the gaming aspects got in the way of everything. There were some confusing game-ending moments that made it frustrating to play over mostly because the selection cursor was too slow or at the wrong part of the screen. Pro tip: go into settings and turn up the controller sensitivity all the way up.
