The Apprentice: Los Angeles
The Apprentice: Los Angeles recreates the original US version of the TV
series, starring businessman Donald Trump’s attempt to find a new business
star. Former contestants and key figures from the show also feature. You face
a series of challenges, beginning with a sushi bar and moving onto a boutique.
On each sub-level you must put people’s orders together by clicking on icons
in the correct order (rice, fish and extras such as tea and umbrellas in the
sushi bar, for example). You will usually be managing multiple deals at once,
so prioritize those where the customer has been waiting for longest, or which
are part of a big order. Some tasks take time to complete (boutique assistants
must find dresses, beach balls must be blown up by your surf shop’s assistant,
for example), so factor this into your thinking. Normal and Expert goals are
provided – reach the normal goal regularly to survive.
If your overall performance on a task isn’t adequate, you will be dragged to
the boardroom, along with 2 other colleagues of your choice. Avoiding
elimination then comes down to a Snap game – turn over cards representing
attributes such as leadership and responsibility, remember where they are, and
find matches. Each Expert goal you reached during the main game will provide a
hint card. The player with the lowest score at the end of this will be fired –
and will usually complain about it.
