A unique mix of turn-based strategy and survival horror, Terror: Endless Night puts you in the boots of a captain managing an ice-trapped ship. What will you do when the food starts running out, officers begin to mutiny, and insanity, death, and terror start spreading on your deck?
## About This Game
A breath of fresh air in the survival horror and strategy genres, Terror:
Endless Night casts you in the role of the commander of a 19th-century relief
expedition whose ship is trapped in the Arctic ice. Managing dwindling
resources is the least of your problems once perpetual night descends on your
crew, drawing them slowly into the clutching embrace of insanity…
As the captain, you’ll have to decide whether your crew’s survival is more
important than finding your son, whose rescue is the expedition’s stated goal.
What path will you choose when all hope has vanished? When you cry for help,
will you call for God or on science? And when the dance of the dead starts,
will you be able to bear your own reflection in the mirror?
In 1845, two English ships, the HMS Erebus and HMS Terror, embarked on a
scientific expedition to the Arctic under the command of Sir John Franklin.
When they vanished without a trace, a series of relief expeditions commenced,
some of the largest and most famous expeditions in the history of the world.
As the commander of one of those expeditions, you must learn the truth about
Franklin’s voyage and find out what happened on the Erebus.
As the captain, you’ll need to adapt to the unnatural and hostile environment
of an ice desert that surrounds your ensnared vessel. Remember to keep the
ship warm, assign tasks, manage resources, and form a plan that will ensure
your crew’s survival.
Burdened with the task of keeping your crewmen alive, you’ll have to decide
what new laws to enact. What path will you take, and will it guide you out of
this ice-covered hell? It’s up to you to decide if TERROR is the only way to
survive.
Terror: Endless Night will force you into difficult moral dilemmas. What’s
more important, the good of many or the needs of one? How ought you to punish
the poor souls who tried escaping the endless night on their own — or should
you at all? Are all human lives of equal worth? And how can you feed everyone
when there’s not enough food and the brig is overcrowded?
Impenetrable darkness, a claustrophobic ship, and bone-chilling cold would
leave anyone on the verge of a mental breakdown. Insanity overtaking your ship
will lead to scenes straight from the most nightmarish horrors. Can you keep
your mind clear when all of your senses start screaming in terror?
