The action of this production takes place in the distant future, in the year 2440. After contamination and climate change made further existence on Earth impossible for people, the colonization of other planets began. With the help of machines and robots, they created favourable living conditions, after which mankind continued its existence. Until. Well, on one of the planets, Tellus 2, the machines rebelled against people and took control of the colony. Our task, as a special forces soldier sent to Tellus 2, is to regain control of the whole situation.

As in any action game, the way to “control the situation” leads through the extermination of encountered opponents (in this case robots). We have at our disposal, as befits real warriors, a mass of combat equipment (e.g. a special protective suit) and various types of weapons to be used. In addition, during the game we have to perform minor quests, such as finding the keys to the rooms, or finding the components of the main computer of the colony. In addition, one of the most important tasks facing the player is to free the professor, who is the only person who has the knowledge how to stop the whole army of machines.

Terraformers is the first 3D action game designed for both sighted and blind players. The latter control the game based on an excellent audio system, which won an award in the category “Audio Innovation” at the Independent Games Festival in 2003 (Independent Games Festival 2003).
