Teamfight Tactics is a brand new game mode available as part of the popular MOBA, League of Legends. The module offers a completely different gameplay model, reminiscent of such titles as Auto Chess or Dota Underlords. The production was developed and released by Riot Games (the authors of League of Legends). Like LoL, the title is available in a free-to-play format.

### Mechanics

Teamfight Tactics is based on completely different rules than the vanilla League of Legends. The mode offers the ability to compete with seven other players. The game takes place on maps divided into hexagons, and clashes are played in a turn-based system. What’s more, players don’t control their characters directly – instead, the choice of champions is crucial. The goal is to pervade on the battlefield as long as possible.

After each round, we get gold, for which we can buy stronger characters, offering better attacks and special abilities. It is also possible to purchase a hero several times and then combine these “copies” into a single, stronger hero. It is also worth investing in characters with similar skills – thanks to that we unlock additional bonuses, increasing the capabilities of our charges.

All players choose champions from the same limited pool. It is worth noting that the order of selection is opposite to the results achieved so far. The weakest players choose first, so that their initial failures do not compromise their chances of winning the game.

Teamfight Tactics is the new League of Legends gameplay mode. We can only play with seven other people over the Internet.

### Technical aspects

Teamfight Tactics is no different from the vanilla League of Legends. We thus get three-dimensional graphics with a colourful artistic style, reminiscent of a comic book or an animated film. The extraordinary designs of individual characters deserve particularl appreciation.

There is also a completely new customisation option in the game – the Little Legends, i.e. small accompanying creatures with their own animations.
