Mysterious castle: Unusual adventures of Bolek and Lolek is a simple adventure-logical game designed for the youngest users of personal computers. Aidem Media is responsible for the preparation of this production. Its portfolio includes such titles as Bolek and Lolek on the trail of a lost spelling book or Bolek and Lolek: The Crazy Olympics.
In the course of the game, the young player is faced with the opportunity to accompany in an interesting adventure the brothers who are well known, among others, from the animated series. This time the main characters go on a holiday trip to a mountain hut, but instead of hitting the spotted place they reach the title castle owned by Master Zygryd. Soon it turns out that the owner of the castle is a scientist and wants to complete an alchemical experiment with the help of boys.
The basic premise of the game is the desire to get out of the castle of Zygryda. To make it possible, however, we must first of all get to know better the place where friendly heroes found themselves. In total, we have about thirty locations to explore, where we collect and properly use interactive objects, as well as solve logical puzzles. Available puzzles are divided into ten types and concern, among others, playing ships or playing melodies on organs. Their level of difficulty was naturally adjusted to the child’s abilities.
The graphic design of the Mysterious Castle consists mainly of nicely made two-dimensional boards, between which we have to move. The game interface is as simple as possible, so that giving commands to characters does not cause big problems.
