Taichi Panda 3: Dragon Hunter is the third entry in the popular series of online action role-playing games inspired by classic dungeon crawlers and MMO games. The title was developed by Chinese studio Snail Games, the creators of previous entries in the series and the Age of Wushu/Wulin franchise. The title was published on PC, AND and iOS. It uses free-to-play distribution model with microtransactions.
### Plot
In the game the player will visit the well known fantasy realm of Avzar. It is inspired by eastern and western influences that make it a very eclectic location. The players assume the role of members of two rival factions that are hunting dragons and other wild beasts.
### Mechanics
Taichi Panda 3: Dragon Hunter for PC, AND and iOS combines features of typical action RPGs and online games. The players spend their time on traveling through Avzar, participating in spectacular battles, developing character, collecting various items (equipment and other things) and using a simple crafting system. One of the most interesting activities is hunting and taming various mounts, including powerful dragons. By mounting them the player can fly freely. Detailed design of the world map is a strong advantage of the game. In addition to that, the developers included a small cooperation aspect. It enables the players to fight together against powerful bosses. The game also features a PvP option that allows players can compete with each other in 3 on 3 battles.
### Technical aspects
Taichi Panda 3: Dragon Hunter for PC, AND and iOS is powered by Flexi 3 engine, Metal rendering technology and physics solutions created by Nvidia. These technologies enabled Snail Games to create the best looking entry in the series. The game features detailed, vast locations that can be observed from third-person perspective, no loading screens what so ever, high quality textures, advanced lighting and particular effects. All of that comes at a price of high system requirements on some devices the game might not work fluently. The title also features a soundtrack inspired by classic Chinese compositions.
