Length- a perfect option for either a long, sprawling journey or quick paced run through. Doesn't ever over stay its welcome because it can be beaten with a little over half the stars in the castle which is a very welcome option.
Story, Characters, Epicness- pretty bland story with little depth, characters all around have almost no dimensions to them, and the "epic" scope of the quest is hindered by a lack of depth from BOTH of these things combined.
A super fun game, though relatively easy and shallow in terms of story. Not necessariy frustrating because the gameplay is hard, but more because of the mechanics of the N64 controller being sucky. A real great introductory experience for 3D gaming though.
