Sunburn! is a black humorous puzzle game maintained in the climate of science fiction. This is a debut production of Secret Crush studio, released on mobile devices.
The title boasts a genuinely crazy storyline idea. The scenario revolves around the crew of a spacecraft that managed to leave the deck before the entire unit was destroyed. However, this does not mean that they saved their lives. Instead they delayed only the moment of death. They will only have enough oxygen for a short time, and no help will come in time. So the group decides to leave in a big style – flying into the middle of the sun.
The authors have turned the story full of black humour into a fascinating logical game, in which our task is first to collect companions drifting in the emptiness of space, and then to guarantee them all effective deaths. Cosmonaut suits have jet engines, but these are only suitable for slight flight correction. Instead, the key is to use the gravitational forces of planets and asteroids to travel.
Sunburn! follows the classic paths of mobile production, offering an interesting idea and simple gameplay mechanisms that are easy to learn, but at the same time hide surprisingly much depth. All this is wrapped in attractive two-dimensional graphics made in full of large pixels of retro style.
