## Description

_Summerbatch Volume 1_ is a pack of 5 independent games, all built with the
Adventure Game Studio. It was available for purchase during the Summer and
Fall of 2012. All of the included games were made available independently and
for free afterwards, except for _Nancy the Happy Whore_ which was turned into
a commercial deluxe edition and _Jailbreak_ not available independently. The
included games are:

_Barely Floating_ , _Nancy the Happy Whore_ , _Patchwork_ and _PISS_ are 2D
adventure games with classic point-and-click mechanics, while _Jailbreak_ is a
real-time stealth game.

Barely Floating
Modern day pirates have abducted the passengers of a luxury cruise liner and
are holding them for ransom. After the negotiations break down, it is up to
one of the cruise ship passengers, bitter old Joseph Lancaster, to outwit the
pirate crew and save his fellow hostages.

Jailbreak
You have been framed and imprisoned for a crime you did not commit. Now you
have to sneak or fight past the guards so that you can break out and get your
revenge.

Nancy the Happy Whore
Nancy, a cheerful prostitute, and her best friend Susie, an equal opportunity
drug addict going through withdrawal, have run out of gas. The good news –
they’re at a gas station; the bad news – they’ll have to deal with robbers and
doomsday cultists to get out of there alive. Oh, and the gas pumps are broken.

Patchwork
Daniel is a scientist on Earth about to test his greatest invention – a
teleportation device. Lin is a student Wizard in a parallel world practicing a
transdimensional demon summoning spell. As science and magic collide, so do
the two worlds – now Daniel and Lin must work together to disentangle their
very different realities.

PISS
Moira is a mercenary haunted in her dreams by her past – a past she has
successfully drunk herself into forgetting during the waking hours. Now the
nightmares only allow her to get a couple hours of sleep a night, and even
that only if she goes to bed drunk. Moira has just fulfilled a contract which
should have netted her enough funds for two months worth of alcohol, when she
learns that her client has died and is using the promised pay to instead
secure passage across the river Styx. Of course Moira is not about to let this
double-cross stand between her and her hard earned sleep!
