Game Analysis | While State of Decay 2 is a first-party Xbox exclusive, it's not a AAA experience, launching at a budget price of $29.99. This means the system requirements for State of Decay 2 aren't overly demanding either, with a mid-range 2GB video card capable of meeting the recommended specs. It will need to be paired with a quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz, at least, alongside 8GB system memory. State of Decay 2 was announced at E3 2016. A co-operative sandbox zombie survival game, players scavenge for supplies and attempt to survive against the zombie onslaught. | |

Co-op is fun
Few improvements over the first
Outdated graphics
Too easy
Monotone
Improvement over the first one, but not much. It is basically the same game which gets really boring and monotone after a few hours. And don’t even get me started on the outdated graphics. Don’t buy this game, it’s not worth it.
Conclusion: State of Decay 2 is basically State of Decay 1, just with a few really minor upgrades.
Co-op works, it's fun, the combat and driving are far superior to the first
shallow lacklustre gameplay that gets stale quickly
A lacklustre but fun co-op game that improves on the first, but not enough to keep us playing
