“That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.” Squid God Assault Squad is a single player Strategy Squad Shooter in which the player takes on the role of Death and his team in search of Cthulhu. It’s inspired by Moby Dick and the Cthulhu mythos, with Death as Captain Ahab and Cthulhu as Moby Dick. The player is able to alternate between the three main characters calling on their ability to manage instances of combat (defense, offense and supply). The goal is to survive waves of Cthulhu’s minions using different strategies and solving puzzles. This game is currently being made for PC with Mac and Linux builds still to be properly tested.
