Spooky Pop is another game by the renowned Supercell studio, engaged in the production of games for mobile devices (Clash of Clans, Hay Day and Boom Beach). This time the developers created a title belonging to the genre of match-3 puzzles. However, this is not another clone of Candy Crush Saga, but a kind of action game based on the free-to-play business model (a free game in which micropayments were used).
The story tells the story of a professor who opened the transition to a different dimension. Unfortunately, this achievement did not bring him glory, and additionally brought a great danger to our planet in the form of a huge number of phenomena. The player’s task is to get rid of the problem by guiding the ghost hunters.
The game is divided into a number of short stages, in which we fight our opponents in turn-based system. The game is based on classic match-3 rules, i.e. combining vertically and horizontally at least three elements of the same colour. In this way we supply energy to the plasma departments of our wards. There is only one goal – to get rid of all enemies approaching us after each round.
As in any self-respecting mobile game, here, too, there were various power-ups, making the game a little easier to play. During the game you can use your ability to heal or push your enemies away, which gives you some time for further fighting. In addition, the gameplay is diversified by interactive elements like exploding barrels.
