Spirit Journey

Spirit Journey is an action game for the Gear VR with exploration elements. The player will embark on a metaphorical journey inside himself. Lanterns floating the air will guide his way through floating islands representing thoughts and memories. He will have to find them quickly and aim precisely to pull himself towards them and avoid falling into the abyss. Paying close attention to his surroundings, the player might find hidden paths, leading to ancient wisdom. The game offers 10 levels and 10 secrets to be found, and is targeted at more casual players rather than hardcore gamers.

The idea for the game was born during the Global Game Jam 2016. The developers from two Poznan based companies, Indago and UX Dream, joined forces and began building the game in early January 2016. The game was self-funded by the developers, who shifted to part-time work and covered part of their living expenses with savings. The game was presented at the Indie Zone of the Pyrkon convention together with another game made by Indago, Spelldrift Academy, and received a warm reception from the players.
