## Description
_Shopping Centre Tycoon_ is a managerial simulation where the player builds
and manages a mall. The game is played similar to other tycoon games: the
player has an empty building to his disposal. Then he chooses in the menus the
stores and other infrastructure facilities and drags them to the place he
wants them to be. The next important step is to hire employees, e.g.
maintenance people. Because of the peculiarities of shopping centres the
player is not responsible for the shops themselves, he just provides the
localities and infrastructure. As for most similar games the player can watch
his customers as they use his business.
A part of the playing time is spent in statistics screens where the player can
analyze charts with his detailed earnings and expenses. Other important
statistics are the criminality rating and the customer’s evaluation of the
mall, which depends on things like the availability of goods and decor.
Besides the free playing mode the game features twelve missions with existing
malls where the goal is to reach a certain rating in categories like
popularity or turnover. The game features three cities: London, Paris and
Berlin.
