Released on mobile devices Rock the Vegas is another economic social game in the Lithuanian Game Insight studio, belonging to the popular genre of city builders. This time, however, we are not engaged in the development of a fictional city, but we are building from scratch the city of Las Vegas, considered to be the world’s entertainment and gambling center.
The mechanics of play is very simple and boils down to erecting new buildings, which will bring us regular profits. This, in turn, will allow us to purchase new areas of land, on which, as the game progresses, we will build more and more profitable buildings. The range of structures available includes residential and public buildings as well as exclusive casinos and hotels characteristic of the Vegas landscape.
The game’s graphic design is at an average level, and buildings do not sin in detail. However, the authors took care of the changing cycle of day and night, thanks to which the city, not very attractive during the daytime, turns into a glittering neon, vibrant metropolis after dark. The production is based on the free-to-play model typical for Game Insight games, enriched with micropayments and social options. Inviting friends to play, we can visit their cities and thus raise additional funds.
