Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013. Resident Evil favorites Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield and Ada Wong are joined by new characters, including Jake Muller, to face a new horror, the highly virulent C-virus, as the narrative moves between North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang.Starting with three distinct, yet interwoven story threads, each with their own pair of protagonists for either solo or co-op play, both offline and online, not only will Resident Evil 6 deliver both different perspectives and gameplay styles but, with the introduction of the innovative Crossover mechanic players will be able to team up and share the horror. At key moments during the game, up to four players can join together online to tackle a specific situation, with some stages seeing the usual partnerships swapped to further increase the depth of gameplay.Once players have completed the initial three campaigns they will unlock an all new campaign featuring Resident Evil’s very own femme fatale, Ada Wong. A single player experience, Ada’s campaign features unique missions, gameplay and weapons which will provide answers to the unanswered questions from the first three campaigns.

Bad game at all
Unfortunately the worst RE I’ve played. No suspense, no feeling of horror-survival (zombies are too intelligent), Game plot isn’t good at all, four campains of which only one Leon’s campain makes a bit fun. AI and enemies are totally messed up. Horrible, only 3 Stars, because of upgradeables and unlockables and some character movement improvements (like dodge, etc…) and because of RE series. Game isn’t worth it, stay at RE4 and RE5 or get the new remake of RE2.
AMAZING sound design and voice acting
great graphics and display
really easy
Pretty derivative stories
not replayable since its so long
So the major issues with this game come from a design standpoint- specifically the “driving/flying/vehicle” segments- they are flat out terrible and shouldn’t have been put in this game. Otherwise, this is pretty much RE5 but WAAAAY longer and with a more confusing, albeit highly intricate, story. The ability to move around while shooting is great, the graphics were impressive, the voice acting was even pretty stellar at times. The story got pretty convoluted at times (especially in the case of Ada’s scenario where she just SHOWS UP to the next area with no real explanation), but overall I found it satisfying to see all the stories weave in and out of each other. Not the best RE game, but I’m sure there are worse.

The first two campaigns are good, but I personally think that the other two are really painful. Leon’s campaign focus on horror, while Chris’ campaign has more action elements. The third (Jake and Sherry) goes to the adventure style and, the last (Ada Wong), the worse in my opinion, seems like a stealth/puzzle campaign. The crossover Leon/Chris is awesome for fans. Besides, the relationships between the characters is well developed. However, the game fails as a multi-genre game.
