## Description
_ranTrainer_ is an economic simulation were the player coaches a soccer team
from the Bundesliga, the highest German soccer league. The main menu is a
static screen which represents the player’s office. By clicking on certain
items he can switch to other menu screens. There are several settings the
player can use to influence the athletic success of his team, e.g. training,
player market or tactical settings.
The matches itself are shown in real time isometric view. During the match the
player can react to the proceedings on the field, e.g. by changing his
tactics. The eponymous German soccer show “ran” is represented in the game
with videos which are shown in the half-time and the end of the matches were
host Johannes B. Kerner and commentator Werner Hansch analyze the results.
