## About This Game
RANGER VS. DRONES is a VR study conducted by the University of Bremen.
Please follow the survey link via “Visit the Website” in the menu before
downloading the game.
Dear player,
this game is part of an experiment that investigates how different reward
systems in VR affect the player experience. We invite all enthusiasts who own
a VR headset to participate in our study. You will be asked to play the VR
game and fill out some questionnaires regarding your experience.

Subsequently to the survey, you will be asked to play the game
In RANGER VS. DRONES you are the last ranger trying to protect a western
saloon against an army of futuristic drones!
The drones will come in waves and try to steal the saloon’s inventory.
You only have your two guns to prevent the drone invasion! Try to shoot as
many drones as possible!
You will play the game in VR and experience multiple rounds of drone shooting.
After each round we will ask you for your feedback.
Your personal opinion is very interesting for us!
Due to consent, participation is only possible for 18+ years.
The study will take about 15 – 20 minutes. Please do not run the application
repeatedly after successfully participating.
Your participation will help us to identify suitable reward mechanics for
future VR-games and facilitate the design of engaging training applications in
VR.
