Rakker and the Sinking Cities
The restless soul of a roadkilled rabbit (doubtless the lagomorph ancestor of
Gun-Nac’s antagonists) gathers the discontent shades of other spectral bunnies
to vent their collective frustration by tunneling beneath the major cities of
the world, undermining their foundations and causing them to sink.
Rakker, a very-much-alive rabbit with a conscience, cannot abide this
burrowing menace from beyond the grave, and so he sets out beyond his warren
to the infernal underworld in order to set things right using the only
abilities at his disposal: running, jumping on to platforms, ducking, grabbing
on to ledges and occasionally flipping levers. Sporadic enemies can be
vanquished by jumping on their heads, but most of the obstacles are static
hazards — the likes of spiked pits awaiting anything less than a pixel-
perfect jump.
