Radical Rappelling

Radical Rappeling is an arcade game, which could be classified as an endless runner game – with the difference, however, that instead of moving to the side of the screen, we slide down a rocky slope. Halfbrick Studios is responsible for the creation of the title – creators of such mobile hits as Fruit Ninja or Jetpack Joyride.

In the game we play the role of two mountain climbers: Ripa and Roxy, who have to escape from the lava stream falling from above. All the fun comes down to skillfully lowering on the rope and avoiding a whole mass of obstacles and traps lurking on our way. Our task is to touch the screen at the right moments, thanks to which we help our character avoid further dangers.

When going downhill we have to collect coins scattered along the route of the descent, and we are disturbed by e.g. spikes protruding from the wall, tight tunnels or rings of fire, with which contact results in immediate death. Thanks to performing various tricks, however, we use a special Remix belt, which after filling provides us with a few seconds of immortality, which allows us to quickly move a dozen or so meters down, regardless of any dangers. As the game progresses and tasks are completed, we gain cash and various valuable bonuses, such as resurrection, increasing the multiplier, or a magnet that attracts coins.

Radical Rappeling has a simple but eye-catching graphic design, with the main emphasis on playability. Production is available in a free model with micropayments, and the purchase of premium currency allows us to unlock additional outfits for our characters, stronger and more effective ropes or the above mentioned bonuses.
