Fara and Flux have been captured by the Ceruleans (an elderly group of robots that are looking to acquire the unique and advanced robots out of the millions in the world) and forced into The Arena – a robotic competition that is a proving grounds for the worthy. In order to be granted freedom, you have to finish all the challenges; in order to finish all the challenges, you need to be quick and resourceful. Robots that give up or fail are shipped to the yards to work until they eventually rust and are dismantled. Murmurs from the other robots suggest that the final challenge has never been completed.
Fara is a strong runner and better at maneuverability, while Flux can glow in dark environments, and fit into smaller areas.
Fara and Flux seek to unlock the secrets of The Arena and complete the final challenge so they can escape and one day find where they truly belong.
