## Description
A fan has made unauthorized adaptations of Quicksilver gamebooks, all of a
Dungeons & Dragons-ish medieval fantasy bent, published between 1981 through
’83, converting them into a Windows-executable dB2K database to automatically
handle hypertext transitions between paragraphs and automate periodic stats
and inventory management as well as randomization as might have been initially
called for with die rolls.
The program includes all four entries from Quicksilver’s small-scale Mini-
series gamebooks, each containing three distinct but related adventures for
different player classes:
* _Carnival in Windemere_ ;
* _Crystal’s Pleasure Palace_ ;
* _The Freak Show_ ;
* and _Tails of the Expected_
as well as the first two of the four larger-scale, single-class Maxi-Solo
adventures:
* _Message from Heartbreak Mountain_
* and _Journey from Rigour_.
