## Description
_qrp_ is a short, experimental game about daydreaming in class about girls.
The concept and gameplay mechanisms are similar to The Marriage, but here the
player has direct control over the lead character, a boy. The game is shown
through the boy’s eyes, looking down on a page in a course about statements.
The daydreaming starts below the conditional P => Q statement, where the
characters, a boy and a girl, appear as drawn figures.
The girl will go her way automatically, but the boy can be moved around (or
stand still). As they move about, their paths will distort the letters on the
page, pushing them out of the way until an incoherent mess appears, simulating
the effect of daydreaming as waning attention. The girl’s behaviour adapts to
the boy’s movement. He can chase after her, but never catch her. Still, the
girl will always return in his vicinity. The mouse cursor has the form of a
rose, but it has no effect on the game. After a while, she will draw flowers
and small hearts the player can collect, but with no apparent effect,
accompanied all the game through with a midi (instrumental) rendition of the
seventies’ Carpenters’ song _Close to You_. When the song ends, the game is
over.
