Pyrrhic Victory is a 3d cooperative medieval warfare simulator that brings players onto the field as a soldier and a commander. Inspired by epic tales from throughout history, we seek to let you experience highly strategic and tactical battles that can challenge even the most hardened strategist – if you want it to, that is. Strategy and tactics are completely optional – if you just want to be a soldier in an army then the AI will take over the thinking and you can get right into the midst of the enemy forces. Of course, once you find a few friends and family members to join in, Pyrrhic Victory shines all the brighter – now you can have different players controlling different parts of the army to implement a grand strategy. Get the smartest minds together with the best fighters and you will be unstoppable . Of course, no military simulator would be complete without a rich world to accompany it – and that is what we’ve done. With 6 races, and 20 odd mercenary factions, each army that enters the field will be a unique challenge – especially when you throw magic into the mix. We aim to add campaign stories and historical battles set in our universe, as well. **Features**

* **Real time battle system** Out think and out play your enemies in real time – or slow down time a bit if you need some extra time yourself. Videos to come.
* **Unique Factions** Each race and faction was thought up with a detailed lore and history – each race has its own unique fighting styles and can complement their armies with mercenary factions to cover short comings (at a cost, of course). Check out the faction pages to learn more.
* **Make your plan, does it survive contact with the enemy?** Before your battle (Assuming you weren’t ambushed), take a moment to plan the battle and order your troops.
* **Magic!** Magic makes everything more interesting – in war it makes things more deadly. Rain fire down on enemies, crash their boats into one another or simply deflect incoming arrows with a wall of air – just try not to get your mages killed, they don’t tend to like that.
* **Multiplayer** Using a great plan to defeat a larger force is fun. Winning because you had your friends along is even better.
* **Choose how you want to play** Like Strategy? Good, this is the game for you – you’ll certainly have the chance to out-think your opponents. More into slaying everyone that comes into arms reach? This is also the game for you – there will be a lot of dead enemies to be had. Players order their troops at the same time that they kill their foes – but it is the grand commander that orders everyone around – if you don’t want to lead the whole army, let someone else.
* **Friendly to everyone** We haven’t nailed down exactly which options we’ll be providing, but we hope to be able to let everyone play equally – at the very least we will allow players to slow down time.
* **And much more!** We’re still at the early stages of creating Pyrrhic Victory, but first we want to make sure that the warfare is excellent. After we get the main pieces down then we’ll be looking to add more story components.
