During your adventure, you will battle Team Magma in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Team Aqua in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Team Magma seeks to increase the land, while Team Aqua wishes to increase the seas. In order to bring about these grand plans, each will turn to the power of a Legendary Pokémon: Groudon or Kyogre. Team Magma pursues Groudon, while Team Aqua goes after Kyogre. What could be driving them to such lengths?
Great Soundtrack
Graphic Updates
Delta Episode
Main Plot
Post-Game
Ok, the game is exactly how was the original, but with better graphics and music, and that is the problem I had with the game. The other remakes give something more to the original, a thing that AS can’t do. FRLG give a pos-game and a better mechanic and HGSS upgraded the plot and give a better mechanic. (Yey, pokemon can follow you). First, the main plot, is the same thing as the original, but I kind had issues with the caves because for some reason they shrink in this remake. And the best point of the game is the Delta Episode, but he is very short. After we beat the E4 and do the Delta Episode you can fight in the Battle Maison or go in the internet and fight against strangers or friends. I still miss the Battle Frontier in this one and ,odd enough, you can’t fight against the leaders again. Also they didn’t upgrade the berry trees, it was tiring taking care of the trees in the originals and didn’t change in the remake. They could make this a mini-game or something. To end, I love the music. If you loved the RSE soundtrack, you will love this one.
Conclusion: It’s a average game if you played the original before and expected “Hoenn and something more”, but If you never played the original you will probably love.
-Secret bases
-Pokémon contests
-graphics
-music
-mega evolutions
This game was fantastic. The story was the same as the original. But it was way more in depth. Much better graphics. More interactive storyline. Like in the original for catching Rayquaza was just go and catch him. But this one made it a second story. Mega Evolutions are neat. I was skeptical at first but now I think it’s great. The elite four gets stronger when battling them a second time. Mauville City was completely redone. It looks way cooler now. With more shops to do fun little activities. Pokémon Contests are still here for course. They have been improved. They’re much more interactive and exciting then before. And all the music was great. My favorite was the Pokémon contest lobby tune. So catchy. The graphics were great. 3D wasn’t in everything. But when it was, it was nice and clear.
Secret bases are back too. It’s been improved. It’s a streetpass feature. Or you can use QR codes. And also assemble a team of friends. Plus you can chose which character you are instead of the game deciding for you. Also finding wild Pokémon is better and you can use the HM Fly to go anywhere.
Conclusion: Overall the game was great. I had so much fun playing this. Certainly worth a try. Especially if you’re a Pokémon fan.
