In Overwatch, you control one of several heroes in competitive 6-person team shooting matches. Battle over objectives, take down the other team, and achieve victory.
In Overwatch, heroes do battle in diverse locations around the world. From the technological marvel of Numbani to the manufacturing powerhouse of Volskaya, each map has a unique layout and specific win conditions that your team must meet in order to secure victory.
Origins Edition includes exclusive “Origins” skins for several heroes which harken back to the days when the titular group Overwatch was thriving.
Origins Edition was eventually renamed to “Game of the Year Edition” which had even more bonus content added.
Soldiers. Scientists. Adventurers. Oddities.
In a time of global crisis, an international task force of heroes banded together to restore peace to a war-torn world:
OVERWATCH.
It ended the crisis and helped to maintain peace in the decades that followed, inspiring an era of exploration, innovation, and discovery. But after many years, Overwatch's influence waned, and it was eventually disbanded.
Overwatch is gone… but the world still needs heroes.

Game Analysis | Overwatch, Blizzard’s multiplayer shooter, has simple objectives but a huge variety of strange characters that add a layer of complexity, from a gorilla scientist to a StarCraft 2 pro driving an explosive mech. An Intel Core i5/AMD Phenom II X3 and a GeForce GTX 660/Radeon HD 7950 is recommended if you want to hit 60fps. |
It's good that every hero in the game is stronger against some and weaker against others. It makes the game very balanced. You can make great combos with your teammates for example Zarya and Genji.
It's a very fun game and you will get addicted easily.
Some heroes are OP (overpowered) for example Mei. She freezes you and every second until you get fully frozen you get slower and slower and it makes it harder to escape. Then when you're frozen and can't move she headshots you with her right click (if you're on pc). Her freezing and then headshooting with an icicle will kill most of the offence, support and some of the defense heroes.
Overwatch is a first-person shooter game that you’ll get easily hooked on. You can play all the heroes but it’ll take some time to master one. It’s a 6v6 gameplay but there’s of course mods!
