Ore no Ryomi
A blend of strategy and action, Ore no Ryomi is a simulator of a restaurant
(or – more specifically – a bar), based somewhat on the 1999 PlayStation game
Ore no Ryōri.
In the strategic section of the game, you buy various things for your bar –
e.g. a candy machine or an expansion of your limited menu. Then, you begin a
day of work, and the action begins…
Numerous customers run into the bar, each of them demanding to be served fast,
fast, fast! You have to skillfully divide your time between preparing their
meals (while adhering to their orders perfectly), disposing of trash, washing
the dishes, and – sometimes – chasing crooks. After you prepare an order, you
sometimes have to wait until it cooks, being careful that the customer doesn’t
receive a raw – or overcooked – meal! If you slip, you’ll receive less money
for the order. And if someone waits too long for your attention, their
patience will run out and they’ll pull out of the bar.
Every few days, an inspection from the Dept. of Health will come along to see
if your restaurant is safe and clean – failing leaves you forced to pay a
tremendous fine.
Once you finish the main “Franchise Mode” (you need to collect a large amount
of money within 40 days), you can try your skill with the “Arcade Mode”.
