Operation X is a simple in its assumptions MMORPG, in which we will play the role of an international agent at the services of the secret ESCB organization. German studio Playata, known from Hero Zero, is responsible for the creation of the title.
After creating our own character and changing through a short tutorial, we start our career as an agent. Our main task is to travel through European cities in search of information that will help expose criminal organisations that threaten international security. The game offers three types of missions: time, skills and combat. Interestingly, we do not participate in subsequent missions on our own, and the result is generated automatically. Our role boils down only to the distribution of collected experience points and cash.
As experience grows, we can improve our agent’s four basic parameters, such as form, initiative, intelligence and instinct. For the money we earn we can buy new clothes, armament and equipment, useful during the execution of tasks. Free time between missions can be spent on training fights, which will result in increased skills of the agent or office work, generating some extra cash. The game also provides the opportunity to compete in PvP and join an existing or establish their own team of agents.
The game’s graphic design is based on static images and does not go beyond the average. Operation X is available in a free-to-play model, the main limitation of which is the time needed to complete individual missions. Of course, we can shorten the waiting time by using the micropayment system.
