## What is Open Mod?
Open Mod is a free-to-play, tactical first person shooter that, for the time
being, revolves around the bank robbery game mode. We focused our attention on
the game mechanics and customizability, having as a main goal providing our
players the opportunity to personalize their experience on as many levels as
possible.
## Core
The gameplay consists of, as expected, a bank robbery, where one team must rob
the bank and escape with the money through certain routes, while the military
must eliminate them before they do so. There already is a variety of weapons
and attachments to choose from, as well as a number of features that ensure an
enjoyable player experience, such as customizability settings (e.g. weapon
placement, independent fields of view), different weapon animations, several
nondominant hand animations and the possibility to propose and/or create
models/animations/environments and have them implemented in the game on
certain conditions.
The essence of Open Mod lies in the concept of community – encouraging people
to express their preferences and getting involved in any matter regarding the
development of the game, as well as integrating user input as content in the
