## About This Game
As governor of a new settlement you create production chains to build a
thriving colony. You will need to keep your workers satisfied and of course
having just one island won’t do the trick! Expand your empire across the world
of One More Island and Declare Independence to free yourself from the reign of
the Old World!
Design and construct buildings to your liking and set up an efficient
logistics network. Advance to higher civilization tiers by meeting and
exceeding the needs of your workers. Increasing needs will push you to
construct complex production chains with complete freedom how and where to
build.
Not before long you’ll start building ships and explore the sea to settle
additional islands. Look for fertilities and natural resources you’re in
desperate need of and rise to the challenge of maintaining multiple islands.
Set up trade routes to supply all islands and be careful of anything
interrupting your supply lines.
Blessed by the Queen of the Old World you’ve set up this settlement, but that
comes with a price. Share your riches with the Queen or prepare to suffer the
consequences of disobedience…
With increasing needs you’ll need to get creative. To stimulate and sustain
the growth of your colony there is a variety of research options. Will you
take the political route, optimize economics or push your workers and
livestock to the max? It’s up to you!
Maximize worker efficiency by optimized building and path layouts, or be a
lenient ruler and see how happy workers help your civilization prosper. Assign
workers to specific tasks to ensure smooth production chains so you never run
out of critical goods.

Choose the difficulty setting that suits you best. Island size, fertilities,
the number of natural resources and even the rate of consumption, choose from
a difficulty preset or customize it yourself.
New maps are generated by dynamically stitching hand-crafted islands together,
making every game you play unique with it’s own challenges.
