We are proud to announce that we, Zuper Games Studios, are currently working on our first mobile game. It’s called Nyctophobia and it’s a one of a kind, very simple yet engaging turn-based RPG mobile game.
The gameplay
You, Nycto, are on a map made out of hexagonal tiles and you move by clicking on them.The objective is to first find a key and then the exit to descent to the next level. The catch is that you are literally in the dark as you can’t see just a few tiles around you and you have limited stamina and if you don’t make the right choices you die. Also, you bump into different scary monsters which you can fight.

The story behind Nyctophobia
Nyctophobia is all about the dark journey to the core of the Earth of a murdered imprisoned in a dark cell for the past 20 years in the Ancient Greece. His name is Nycto and he is now the last chance of humankind as the Earth was attacked by a huge creature. This creature has stolen the magic artifact that kept the world in balance and descended into the depths of the Earth.
What’s different Nyctophobia?
There are 2 unique things about it.
The first is the gameplay. Having a lot of experience in flash game development we brought a gameplay we love from flash to mobile.
The second unique thing about Nyctophobia is the audio. The sound effects are freaky and
are immersive while almost making you shit your pants. Literally. Every time
you bump into a monster it screams loudly. Also, the general audio is creepy.
