Nix was originally part of the Off The Map competition in conjunction with The British library and Crytek. The competetion, hosted by Gamecity, was to create a Gothic game based on on a map provided by the British library, we chose Fonthill abbey and tweaked it to be underwater (to try and mitigate nausea) Nix ended up winning the competition this article explains the contest pretty well. We created this game in our second year of university so it is unpolished and a bit buggy but we hope you’ll enjoy it
