Night Spasm is an openworld action adventure pixel-art-style RPG game that features a turn-based combat battle system, unique characters, and a dark, deep story. With game-play experiences directly from the fans of the game, experience their choices and make your own using out-of-game decisions…
## About This Game
Every RPG game is the same thing over and over… “Good versus Evil”, “magic
and medieval weapons”, and most of the time “Choose your path and your
story”…
It’s fun to play a game were you make all the decisions, or most of them the
very least. Whether the decisions you make are small or major, each choice
creates a fun alternation to your game play based on what you have done and
will decide to do. Though it’s fun and all, doesn’t it feel unoriginal after
awhile? Doesn’t the feel of freedom just start to… fade away the more you
play? Yes, it often becomes not so special anymore… but what could be done
to make it new and different?
The only option is take decision making to the next level, and that’s exactly
what this game Night Spasm is here to do!
AN EXCITING ACTION PACKED ADVENTURE WITH A DEEP AND DARK STORY…
Following the story of the three main characters Theodore, Vander, and Evana,
an airplane flight disaster causes the main characters to teleport to an odd
universe simply called the Island. The Island is a place were people get a
second chance to live when they have died an unfortunate death, but it has
been taken over by a rebellious phantom-like leader who has a major rivalry
with the former Island leader known as MOG. As the new comers and the last
people to come, MOG assigns you to defeat the phantom. Although Inevit looks
like your typical red-eyed ghost-like villain, he doesn’t act like your
typical enemy; Though he is dark, he’s smart and logical, and he cares for
those in danger and is one to give grace and mercy. However, if you are
against the beliefs of Inevit (whatever they may be), he has ways of dealing
with you…
STRATEGIC GAMEPLAY WHERE YOUR SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF THIS
MYSTERIOUS WORLD…
The game-play features an openworld exploration system where you talk to
characters, fight who you have the chance to (if that is your desire), craft
and cook items, discover locations, and expand your army of colonists who help
you fight and help you establish a base you have been given. Find mysterious
relics and loot chests to receive items, avoid or approach characters who
obviously want to hurt you, chose your direction to walk in to find kingdoms
and buildings, and use your given base to feed yourself and repair breakable
weapons. A lack of logic and the absence of a resourceful strategy is
technically your greatest enemy.
THE SMALLEST CHOICES CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME!
On your adventures, you’ll be given options to choose from. Thought you have
little freedom of what you choose, the choice you DO make are huge! These
choices could include the smallest to biggest things, from entering a house to
purposefully destroying an entire species of creatures. Even the randomized
music playing in the background could make a big change to the game, whether
you know it or not. The biggest decision you make is your ideas of morals.
Whether you actually believe in the in-game decisions or you’re just role-
playing, what is good and bad in this world is your decision. You could say
doing drugs is wrong, but then declare to the world that you would kill
someone just for stealing a simple jug of water. All your decisions will lead
up to an ending that has been changed to an extreme level. Maybe Inevit
becomes a good guy, maybe the Island gets destroyed by Inevit, or maybe you
end up becoming the true villain at the end… or even from the beginning.
With fighting skills and smart thinking, the three heroes could succeed. Or
you could, you know, cause the whole story to go completely wrong but still
stay alive (wouldn’t be a wise idea though, but go ahead if that suites your
interest).
However, in-game decisions are not the only decisions you make…
## YOU CAN MAKE DECISIONS THAT CHANGES THE ENTIRE FUTURE OF THE GAME FOR EVERY
PLAYER IN THE WORLD!
This game is all about the voice of the fans! If you have an idea for a great
addition or change to the game, your wish may come true… From story ideas,
custom character ideas, and game play ideas or improvements, we’ll listen.
The first part of Night Spasm is complete. When we’ve heard the voices of the
fans, we’ll work on the next update, which will mostly include fan submitted
ideas. Every idea submitted may be hand-crafted-programmed into the game! All
ideas will make a difference to the future updates, most importantly the final
update, so what you submit out of game will create a fan-crafted story that
will be experienced by every other Night Spasm player in the world. Your voice
will change the history of Night Spasm forever… make your choices quick, the
players depends on you and you might depend on them…
